Skunk River Stables is bringing back Arabians to the farm after a 17 year hiatus. Let's face it. This is a
breed I love and have missed sorely over the years so I decided why deny myself. Three new additions are joining the
stable in 2008. Neither of the Arabians will be available for public service until at least their second season showing under
saddle.
Amir Ibn of Jamaal
Valle Jamal x Never Too Cute by Never Again
Barn name: Prince
Prince is a very typey bay purebred Arabian stallion. He will be three in July and comes to us from Lynn Penniston.
His Paternal Grandsire is the legendary Ali Jamaal. Pictures will be posted as soon as he sheds his shaggy winter coat. Prince
is nominated for life in the Goldstar Futurity and will make his performance debut as a western pleasure junior horse in 2009.
Until then he is getting settled in his new home and has already demanded a new ball from us as a toy. It is on order so until
it arrives he will have to just settle for a gallon milk jug!

Czars Black Knight
Photo: Blacklord Arabi
Grandsire of Czars Black Knight
We will post a picture of Knight as soon as we have him home and slicked out. Knight is destined
for the showring along with his half sister Stormy. Plans are to compete in halter and western pleasure and hopefully nominate
this fine colt for the Goldstar Sweepstakes, the worlds richest futurity program for Arabians!

Duality IQPA (pending)
This typey little 13.3 hh stallion is guaranteed to produce those eye appealing colors of palomino
and buckskin so sought after in todays horse market but not seen as much in the pony market. Duality is nearly 100% foundation
AQHA. We have foals by him for sale and we think you will be pleased. Watch for Duality babies in the show ring this
fall in weanling halter. Check out his boys on the foal page. Both are for sale!

Ive Got Lotsa Sox IQPA (pending)
This gorgeous black tobiano stallion stands 14.1 hh and is an elegant mover. His easy trainability
and athleticism are traits he passed along to his foals. Sox will be gelded sometime soon. While he is an extremely wonderful
sire prospect and has two daughters and a son we simply do not need him in our breeding program. Sox is related to nearly
every mare on the place so he is the one being gelded. His training will continue as he has shown he has the right stuff to
become a top sport pony. Watch for him!
